涉外商務合同的翻譯內容提要：
1.合同的基本概念
合同，也叫契約。“契”，即意思相投或相合；“約”是使用語言或文字互訂共守的條件。合同和契約的含義是一樣的，意思是願意訂立共同遵守的條件，合作共事。《中華人民共和國民法通則》第85條規定：“合同當事人之間設立、變更、終止民事關係的協定”(Acontractshallbeanagreementwherebythepartiesestablish,changeorterminatetheircivilrelationship)。
《中華人民共和國合同法》第2條規定：“合同是平等主體的自然人、法人、其他組織之間設立、變更、終止民事權利義務的協議”(ContractsreferredtointhisLawareagreementsbetweenequalnaturalpersons,legalpersonsandotherorganizationsforthepurposeofestablishing,alteringandterminatingmutualcivilrightsandobligations)。
